Christmas is a time for celebration, connection, and joy. Yet, it’s also one of the most dangerous periods on Australian roads. In the 12-day period from December 23 to January 3, 40 lives were tragically lost in 2024.  

Behind every statistic is a person, a family, a community. The emotional toll of road trauma is profound and lasting. 

This Christmas, ARSF honours those affected by road incidents and calls on all Australians to drive with care and compassion. This festive season, we are urging all road users to Make It Home for Christmas by choosing road safety.
